The F C Router Base Plate is an invaluable accessory, it gives your palm router a more stable base, it has a built in recess for attaching guide bushes for use with hinge jigs, lock jigs etc, it has a flat edge designed to run nicely alongside any rail or straight edge.

I have been using this base on my cordless makita trimmer for a while now and I can’t tell you how much of an improvement it is on the original base. It even allows you to use a collet for jigs which is handy too.

When I first saw this I thought £50 for a baseplate was a bit steep, when the one supplied already did an adequate job!
But I was in the mood for treating myself and I’m so glad I did, as soon as you unwrap it you can tell the quality of workmanship involved, and then when you use it, I can’t explain how much of an improvement it makes!
If you’re at all hesitant in getting one of these then don’t be, you won’t be disappointed!
